  A DREAM rematch between rising star Alex Eala and world No. 2 Iga Swiatek is officially set. The 19-year-old Filipina secured her spot in the round of 64 against Swiatek after defeating world No. 64 Viktoriya Tomova of Bulgaria , 6-3, 6-2, in her WTA 1000 Madrid Open debut on Tuesday night (Manila time) at the Manolo Santana Stadium. Starting the match strong, Eala gained momentum midway through the first set, breaking from a 2-2 tie to win three consecutive games and extend her lead to 5-2. Tomova, 30, responded with a game of her own, but Eala quickly sealed the set at 6-3. Having found her rhythm, Eala scored the first point in the following set to take an early lead. An eighth location that was set to close will now stay open through at least August. The closures were initially announced in February, five years after the retailer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and one month after JCPenney announced it had partnered with the owner of Forever 21 to create a new company called Catalyst Brands. Forever 21 has since shuttered all of its 540 locations .
